SBC Summit Europe 2027

SBC Summit Europe 2027 takes place at RAI Amsterdam from 19 to 21 April 2027, carrying the tagline "Making iGaming Connections That Take You Further." It is a new event rather than a renamed one, added to the SBC calendar after stakeholders repeatedly asked the organiser for a serious show in Amsterdam.

The event is organised by SBC, the Sports Betting Community, founded and led by Rasmus Sojmark, with offices at 212 New Kings Road in London and in Bethesda, Maryland. SBC also runs the Lisbon flagship SBC Summit, plus regional editions in Rio, Toronto, Fort Lauderdale and elsewhere, alongside media titles including SBC News, SBC Americas and Payment Expert.

SBC Summit Europe is aimed at commercial teams working regulated European markets. The event is relevant for:

• Operator commercial and acquisition teams sourcing affiliate partners, platform suppliers and payment providers for European markets.
• Affiliates and media buyers running European traffic who want operator meetings booked in Q2 rather than waiting for the autumn circuit.
• Sportsbook, casino platform and game studio suppliers looking for a European sales checkpoint between ICE and Lisbon.
• Payments, KYC and compliance vendors selling into licensed operators across the Netherlands, Germany, Nordics and wider EU.
• Regulators and policy specialists tracking European licensing developments.

The Amsterdam edition follows the format SBC has built its reputation on: exhibition floor, conference programme and structured business meetings running together across three days, with evening networking attached.

Planning for the event began in October 2024, when Sojmark and event director Paul Mills met stakeholders in Las Vegas. The brief was quality over volume. Amsterdam was picked for its international reach and its standing with gambling industry professionals rather than for raw floor space, and the organiser has said the intention is to take everything a step further in 2027.

Timing is the main argument. April sits in a genuine gap. ICE Barcelona happens in January, iGB L!VE in July, and the SBC flagship in Lisbon in September. An April date gives operators and suppliers a Q2 checkpoint, early enough to still shape the year's plans rather than review them.

Location helps too. Amsterdam is one of the easiest cities in Europe to reach, and the Netherlands sits at the centre of European gambling regulation conversations, with the KSA an active regulator and the Dutch market under continued scrutiny. For companies working licensed European markets, that context makes the city a natural meeting point.
