Regulating the Game 2027 Sydney runs from 8 to 10 March 2027 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on Phillip Street. It is Australia's leading gambling law and regulation conference, and it sits apart from the trade shows that dominate the gaming calendar. There is no expo hall full of slot cabinets here. The room is regulators, policymakers, compliance officers, researchers and the industry people who have to answer to all three.

The event is organised by Regulating The Game Pty Ltd, based at 55 Brisbane Street in Surry Hills, Sydney. It was founded by Paul Newson, principal at Vanguard Overwatch and a former regulator himself, who co-chairs the conference alongside Andrew W Scott, CEO of Complete Media Group and vice chairman of Inside Asian Gaming.
